The kitchen, led by chef Pier-Luc Ouellette, mixes the land and sea with a broad local trend. Oysters are always honored between 5pm and 8pm, on the occasion of 5 @ huîtres!
Customizable cheese and delicatessen platters are also very popular. A vast selection of products from local artisans (Cochons tout ronds, Aliments Viens, Saucisson bio Charlevoix, Ferme Gaspor, and several cheese factories), making Huis Clos a perfect address to make beautiful discoveries.
The varied menu has several entries and dishes of French and Italian inspiration, where the tartares are greatly highlighted. Several vegetarian options are also available, allowing everyone to please his taste. From Wednesday to Saturday, the most festive guests can sit until midnight; thus enjoying a 20% discount on the entire menu starting at 10pm, on the occasion of Tard Tard evenings, where DJs and cocktails intertwine until the wee hours.
As we are aware of the importance of consuming local products, Huis Clos offers a selection of spirits, wines and beers that will please everyone by discovering Quebec products. Ten barrel lines form the centrepiece of the bar, where breweries of the moment change from time to time to make us discover our brewing terroir.
The wine list, signed by Geneviève Morneau, offers great finds. Mostly from private imports, several labels are certified organic or nature. A fine selection of sparkling, white wines, red wines and orange wines are offered to accompany oysters during the 5@huîtres.
